Your privacy is not a compliance checkbox at NumeraHub. It is a commitment we take seriously, because the trust you place in a calculator or converter tool, entering real numbers about your health, your finances, your work, is a different kind of trust than clicking through a news article.
This Privacy Policy explains what information NumeraHub collects when you visit our site or use one of our calculators or unit converters, how we use it, who we share it with, and what rights you have over your own data. We have written it in plain language, because legal documents that no one reads protect no one.
By using www.numerahub.org, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the site.

NumeraHub collects two categories of information: information you give us directly, and information collected automatically when you visit our site. We collect only what is necessary to operate the publication and improve your experience.
IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, pages visited, time spent on pages, referring URL, and general geographic location (country/region level only).
If you contact us via our contact page, we collect your name, email address, and the content of your message. We use this solely to respond to your inquiry.
If you leave a comment, the Blogger platform collects your Google account information. This is governed by Google's Privacy Policy, not ours.
We do not collect your full name, home address, phone number, or payment information. NumeraHub does not run e-commerce and has no mechanism to process transactions.
Every calculator and unit converter on NumeraHub is built as client-side JavaScript, meaning the calculation happens directly inside your browser, on your device. When you enter a number into any calculator or converter on this site, whether a health figure, a financial value, or a math problem, that number is never sent to our servers, never logged, and never stored anywhere by us. We have no record of what you calculated.
This is a deliberate design choice, not a policy we merely promise to follow: the calculators and converters are technically built this way, with no network request carrying your input data at any point. If a calculator or converter on this site ever needs to send data to a server for a specific feature, we state that explicitly on that tool's page. Today this applies only to the Currency Converter, which requests the day's exchange rate for the two currencies you choose, never the amount you enter.
Every piece of data we collect has a specific, limited purpose. We do not build advertising profiles from it. We do not sell it. We do not share it with third parties for their marketing purposes.
- Content improvement: anonymized analytics tell us which calculators, converters, and articles are useful to readers, helping us decide what to build next.
- Site performance: technical data helps us optimize the site for every device.
- Responding to inquiries: contact form submissions are used exclusively to respond to the person who sent them.
- Error detection: automated logs help us find and fix bugs, including in the calculators and converters themselves.
- Legal compliance: in rare circumstances, we may be required to retain or disclose data to comply with applicable law.
We will never use your information to target you with advertising, build a behavioral profile, or sell access to your attention to third parties.
NumeraHub is hosted on the Blogger platform (owned by Google) and uses a small number of third-party services to operate. Each has its own privacy policy governing how it handles data on its end.
Our hosting platform. Governed by the Google Privacy Policy.
Used to understand how readers interact with our content. Data is anonymized and aggregated. Opt out via the Google Analytics Opt-out Tool.
We load typography (Bebas Neue, Playfair Display) from Google Fonts servers, which may log your IP address when a page loads.
To show the day's rate, the Currency Converter requests it from a public feed of European Central Bank reference rates (api.frankfurter.dev) and, for other currencies, from an open exchange-rate dataset (cdn.jsdelivr.net or latest.currency-api.pages.dev). These requests contain only the two currency codes you select, never the amount you enter. Like any web request, they reveal your IP address to those services, which have their own privacy policies.
If we add new third-party services in the future, we will update this policy before those services go live.
- Essential cookies: set by the Blogger platform to keep the site functioning. These cannot be disabled without breaking site functionality.
- Analytics cookies: set by Google Analytics to measure page views and navigation paths. All data is anonymized.
- Preference cookies: if you adjust display settings, a cookie may store that preference for future visits.
You can control or disable cookies through your browser settings. We do not use cookies to track your browsing activity across other websites or serve you targeted advertisements based on your behavior elsewhere.
NumeraHub does not sell, rent, trade, or otherwise transfer your personal information to outside parties for commercial purposes. The only circumstances under which we would disclose information are: legal obligation (a valid court order or applicable law), platform operations (data passing through Google's infrastructure as part of hosting on Blogger), or safety (preventing imminent harm). We will not share your information with advertisers, marketing companies, or data brokers.
- Analytics data: aggregated, anonymized analytics are retained for up to 26 months, then deleted automatically.
- Contact form messages: retained only as long as needed to resolve the inquiry, typically no more than 12 months.
- Server logs: retained for a maximum of 90 days.
- Calculator and converter inputs: not applicable, we never receive them (see Section 2).
NumeraHub is served over HTTPS, encrypting data in transit between your browser and our server. The Blogger platform maintains enterprise-level infrastructure security. While we take reasonable precautions, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we encourage readers not to share sensitive personal information through our contact form beyond what is necessary.
- Right of access: request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Right to rectification: request that we correct inaccurate information.
- Right to erasure: request that we delete personal data, subject to legal retention requirements.
- Right to object: object to processing for analytics purposes.
- Right to data portability: where applicable, request your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us via Section 15. We respond to legitimate requests within 30 days.
NumeraHub is a general-audience educational tools publication. Our content is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately and we will delete it promptly upon verification.
If NumeraHub displays advertising, those ads may be served by third-party advertising partners. We do not provide personally identifiable information to these advertisers. We do not control third-party advertiser tracking technologies, and their practices are not covered by this policy.
To opt out of interest-based advertising: optout.networkadvertising.org or optout.aboutads.info.
NumeraHub uses Google Analytics to understand anonymized, aggregated site usage: page views, session duration, device type, and navigation paths. See Google's privacy practices or use the opt-out add-on. NumeraHub treats a browser's "Do Not Track" signal as a request not to track the user for advertising purposes.
NumeraHub is intended for a general, international audience. If you access this site from outside the country in which it is operated, your information will be processed in accordance with this Privacy Policy. Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights under local law, including under EU law the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, objection, and data portability. If you are a resident of the European Union, you have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in our practices, legal requirements, or the services we use. When we do, we update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this page periodically. We will never make changes that materially reduce your privacy rights without prominently noting those changes on this page.
For all privacy-related requests, questions, or concerns, please reach us through our Contact page. We respond to all legitimate privacy requests within 30 days.
